“Wholly separated from chaos”

”Wholly separated from chaos” represents the encounter with the unknown. Human beings' encounter with nature as well as other cultures. In an abstraction of the human shape I have sought to unite the mystics of pre-Columbian clay figures with the folk tales about “de underjordiske” in Bornholm. In this way the figures are my suggestion for new objects that we can worship, in a reflection of how we are connected to each other, to prehistoric time, nature and everything we cannot immediately see.
