“Archeology of the Mind”

The pieces have developed as part of a research into sand casting. By excavating a shape into the sand, I perform an art of reverse archeology. The objects are not findings from the past but created as visions into the future. Through this choice of technique, I challenge the history of porcelain and give it a new space for expression. My pieces are spatial interpretations of flat imaging, created with inspiration from the inkblots of Rorschach. In this way they appear as unfolds of the human mind.
